The Prosperous Life: Part 2

Dearly Beloved,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Welcome to “The Warriors Corner”! Today, I will continue the discussion on “The Prosperous Life.”  Please read “The Prosperous Life-Part 1 if you haven’t done so already.  https://talithacumi3.wordpress.com/2014/11/03/the-prosperous-life-part-1/ Beloved, my prayer is that you understand that you must collaborate with God in order to manifest his glory in every area of your life.  You must believe in the finished works of Jesus, thank him for what he has already done, and walk through the door of faith.

Beloved, consider the following adaptation from Mrs. Gloria Copeland’s article: “True Prosperity.” In order to prosper, you must first have a prosperous soul. That’s the beginning of the prosperous life. But how do you get there? My journey to the prosperous life began years ago when I read Matthew 6:33 in a Bible Ken’s mother had given him: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” In The Amplified Bible it says to seek “His way of doing and being right.” That’s the foundation of God’s prosperity. When I found that verse, I was ready to try God’s way since I needed a lot of things and my way wasn’t working.

I discovered that God’s prosperity isn’t just financial blessings. It also includes healing, protection, favor, wisdom, success, well-being and every good thing you could possibly need—all the good things Jesus paid for you to have. He took our place and bore the curse of our sin so we can live in the blessing. “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ.” (Galatians 3:13-14). Isaiah 53:5 says, “The chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole” (The Amplified Bible). The Hebrew word for peace in this scripture is shalom. It basically means “nothing missing, nothing broken,” or wholeness in every area of your life—spirit, soul and body.  That kind of prosperous life doesn’t just happen. And it doesn’t happen overnight. But the foundation for true prosperity begins with these seven steps:  Walking in truth, Faithfulness, Diligence, Tithing, Sowing, Believing, and Saying. (Copeland, Gloria 2009.)

Friends, will you answer the clarion call to follow Matthew 6:33, and collaborate with God to cultivate your prosperous life?  Let’s all make the commitment to become better in every facet of our lives.  Until we meet again warriors… I love you to life!

Xoxo,

The Prosperous Life: Part 1

Dearly Beloved,

Hope all is well with you.  Today we are going to focus on manifestation of God’s glory in every area of your life.  Do you want to become all that God has created you to be?  Do you have the desire to be whole mind, body, soul, and spirit?  Do you have the desire to be prosperous financially? God certainly does. Consider one of the many scriptures that He has to say about it.  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2, (KJV) If you have the desire to go to another dimension in God you must be willing to increase your faith to another level.

Many of us are waiting, hoping, and wondering when a visible change is going to come in the deficient areas of our lives. Beloved, you must believe that whatever you need has already been done! When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and released his spirit. John 19:30, (NLT) Friends, please understand that everything you need or desire has already been provided for over 2000 years ago!  What does it take to manifest God’s glory in our lives under the new covenant of grace through Jesus Christ our Lord?  Simply: “I believe I receive ______, in the name of Jesus and thank you Lord for what you have done.”

Don’t allow another day to go by thinking that whatever you desire will fall into your lap.  No!  We must work with God and actively use our faith to manifest his glory in our lives!  Please understand that this goes for every area of your life.  For example:  Does it make sense to believe God and manifest His glory for every other area in your life with the exception of your finances?  NO! Oh my warriors, I can write on and on about this but I must bid you farewell for now…until we meet again I love you to life!

xoxo,

Ascend to Thankfulness!

Dearly Beloved,

Peace, favor, blessings, and God’s love rest on each of you now, and forever.  Don’t allow this month of November, to just be a time of good eating, visiting family, and to be thankful for the tangible things.  I want to encourage us all to be thankful to God for being who He is.  If we all look around we can clearly see that God has been good to us individually, and collectively.  Friends, power is released when we are thankful on purpose.  It takes faith to thank God for the things that are not tangible, and have yet to manifest.

Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live. 1 Thessalonians 5:18, (MSG)  God desires that we remain thankful, and in constant prayer always.  Don’t allow the forces of darkness to seduce you into a pit of fear, doubt, unbelief, the desire not to pray, or to complain about everything.

Beloved, shift your mind, body, heart, soul, and spirit to pure praise and worship to God for who He is.  As a reminder, Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8, (NIV)  From now on warriors, take a moment daily to thank God just for who He is and the unseen. In this season, JUST TRUST GOD no matter what you may think, feel, or see. Until we meet again warriors….I love you to life!

Stop! It’s Not in your Own Strength…

Dearly Beloved,

Hope this missive finds you well.  Beloved, I place heavy emphasis on making a cognizant decision on being the best you that you can be.  Please don’t misunderstand me. You can’t approach or do anything simply on “will power” or in your own strength.  Failure, insanity, and repeated cycles will find you and carry you around the same mountain over and over again if you are not careful.

How do you and I extinguish failure, insanity, repeated cycles, etc.?  We have to humble ourselves, and realize that apart from God we can’t do anything.  Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5, (NLT)  Beloved, team up with God and awesome things can happen.  Will you make mistakes? Yes.  Will you miss the mark? Yes.  Will you return back to what you keep promising God that you will stop doing? Yes, until you ask Jesus to help you.  The more you expose your total self to Him, the more comfortable you will become and desire to only please Him in all things.

Friends, call on JESUS at any time.  Don’t pick Him up and put Him down at your convenience.  All of us have God-given dreams, and visions that only He can help us manifest.  If it’s not larger than what you can do now, it’s not from HIM!  So the next time you think it’s all about you, think again.   STOP and realize that’s it’s not in your own strength that you are able to overcome. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Phillipians 4:13, (NLT)  Until we meet again warriors….I love you to life!

True Love Waits…Part 2

Dearly Beloved,

Hope this missive finds you well. May I speak to all of the single “men” warriors? Remember I told you guys that I was coming for you? In order to receive and give God’s best, gentleman you must be willing to go through a process of preparation. You must be willing to navigate through the ups and downs of life and resolve not to bring anything but excellence to your Queen.

The first and most important relationship that you will need to cultivate is that with God. In order to lead your family effectively King, you must link up with Him to lead your family into the promised land. God will assist you in being the best man, husband, and father you are called to be. Secondly, make a firm commitment to forsake all others to cleave to your wife. Let’s take a look at what the scriptures have to say. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. (‭Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭24‬ KJV) Last but not least, Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭25-28‬ KJV) You must be willing to offer your Queen unconditional love, honor, cherish, and respect to her.

Warriors I’m only scratching the surface with this. The aforementioned is what you can start with. Don’t expect for a Queen to be your mother because she’s not. Don’t expect a Queen to perform queenly duties when she’s not your wife. Finally, be the bold, confident, King that you are and as you follow JESUS your Queen will follow suit. Until we meet again…I love you to life!

True Love Waits…

Dearly Beloved,

Hope this missive finds you well. May I speak to all the single women on today?  Queen, God wants you to know that you are loved, honored, cherished, valued, and protected by Him. Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? Romans 8:35, (NLT) There’s absolutely nothing that can ever separate you from the love Christ has for you.  No matter where you are or what you are doing you must realize this and change your mindset.  You are not alone, and God loves you more than you will ever know.  Ladies, you must begin to examine your mind, body, heart, soul, and spirit.  Prepare for your King to arrive and find you.  He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord. Proverbs 18:22, (NKJV) The scripture NEVER said, “She” who finds a husband finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord. When truth speaks, rise to do better queen.  Wait and allow God to bring who He has in mind for you.

BREAK THE SOUL TIES now queens.  Stop giving your mind, body, soul, money, to people who are not your husbands!  Consider this: Oh, let me warn you, sisters in Jerusalem: Don’t excite love, don’t stir it up, until the time is ripe—and you’re ready. Solomon 8:4, (MSG) Keep God first in all things! For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous is a jealous God, Exodus 34:14 (KJV). Beloved, please understand that God can’t and won’t be replaced.  Don’t make the mistake of replacing God with your boyfriend, significant other, and lose sight of who sustains you daily.  God always wins in the end! God desires that you live your best life and wants to bless you always.  Next step…make a decision to declutter and disconnect from toxic relationships that steals, kills, and destroy your being.  Until we meet again warriors….I love you to life!

Oooh Did I Say or Think That?

Dearly Beloved,

Hope all is well. The question of the day is this:  What are you speaking and meditating on today?  Is it acceptable to the Lord?  Do you realize that He is your strength and redeemer?   Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14 (NASB) Beloved, this is the conclusion of the prayer that the psalmist David composed.  The aforementioned scripture is very “common” and quoted by everyone.  Have you really just considered what God was speaking through David? Ponder this for a while, and watch how you are more mindful of what you say and think!!

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness.  Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.  Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?  My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water. James 3:9-12 (NIV) But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. Matthew 12:36 (NIV) Allow every thought, the words you speak, and what you allow into your heart space be under the subjection of God the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Beloved, there is nothing too hard for you to do or overcome.  God is our strength and redeemer! Until we meet again warriors….I love you to life!

Just Trust me-God

Dearly Beloved,

Hope all is well with your day.  Isn’t it amazing how we put our total trust in ourselves, people, family, and friends?  The truth is that God wants us to have total confidence in Him and not man.  Let’s check out the following scriptures for the purpose of this missive: Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. Psalm 146:3 (KJB).  It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people. Psalm 118:8 (NLT).   Beloved, God desires that we seek Him in all things.  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (NLT)

How do you build total confidence or trust in God?  The answer is this: renewing your mind in the word of God daily. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think Romans 12:2 (NLT) Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Beloved, we can’t be lazy and expect to be successful in God.  True success is obtained by exposing yourself to the scriptures and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform you. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8 (NIV). Friends, the more you expose yourself to the Word everything will change about you.  Isn’t that awesome! Until we meet again…warriors I love you to life!

What Path Will you Choose?

Dearly Beloved,

Hope all is well. May I share something with you?  Don’t allow what your eye can see or how you may feel deter you from claiming complete and total victory on today.  You must be willing to “see” with eyes of faith.  Please understand that you have two options.  You can either choose life or death. Deuteronomy 30: 19 (NLT) says, ““Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! Examine how loving God is. He loves us so much that he told us in this scripture on which path to choose.  Life infuses the fruit of the Spirit. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Galatians 5:22 (NLT)

In spite of what your trials and tribulations may communicate to you, you can speak back to it. Now the latter may appear to be trivial, unnecessary, or too much for you to do.  Friends, please understand that you can use the living word of God to change the course of your day and your life!  Beloved it’s good to be in a place to where you have run out of options.  Count it all joy when you’re in a position to become totally dependent on God. Come on warriors, you and I are only one decision away from changing our total course.  I decree and declare on this glorious Monday morning that help is on the way!  When we call, our God will answer!!!!  Until we meet again….I love you to life!

From Brokenness to Peace

Dearly Beloved,

Hope all is well.  Friends, I am in complete awe of Luke 7:36-50 (NIV).  The story is about the sinful woman who anointed Jesus.  In her community she was viewed as a “sinner”, and was rejected among the people, and Pharisees.  We have all been where this woman was either now, or at some point in our journey.  Life happens to the best of us, and when it does it breaks our mind, body, heart, soul and spirit. How do you respond?  The correct response should be the example that the sinful woman displayed in the scriptures.

Friends she came to Jesus broken, yet full of faith.  She came in a worship posture, submission, and most of all love. She was able to put aside how she may have felt.  Her intentional healing was dependent on her believing that Jesus would restore her.  As she wept, and kissed Jesus’s feet, it was clear that she had full assurance of safety in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Tonight, are you willing to lay aside everything that you may be experiencing and fall at Jesus’s feet? Will you allow Him to minister to you on tonight?

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 Your heart may be broken and your spirit may be crushed.  God knows and understands all.  The sinful woman demonstrated love, and how truly sorry she was for her mistakes.  Forgiveness, and love from Jesus is always there no matter what.  Beloved, only have faith and believe that you are loved by God.  Peace will cover you and the same grace that is extended to you, you will be able to freely give to others. Until we meet again….
