#WarriorMoment

In spite of it all, family is important. It’s about progress, not perfection. Don’t allow this upcoming holiday season to be the same. Drop offense, and do your best to walk in forgiveness. It’s not easy, but with faith and God’s strength it’s very possible. Tomorrow is not promised, but we can make the best of each moment, one day at a time.

Good, bad, or indifferent family is one of many gifts from God that we often take for granted, until it’s too late. I challenge each of us to put our family near and far in our prayers, and thank God for them starting today.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Colossians 3:13, NIV

Before I let you go, I wanted to let you know that as of October 6, 2020, my blog turned six years old! With that being said, thank you for your continued support. Stay tuned, there’s more to come. Until we meet again, I love you to life!

#WarriorMoment

The day is what YOU would have it to be. Nothing that has happened (beyond your control) before you read this post matters. Take a deep breath and reset.  Do it as many times as you need, until that energy shifts. Be kind. Be kind and gentle with yourself/others.  Last but not least, don’t worry. God has you covered on all sides.

Until we meet again…I love you to life!

A New Day

Beloved,

Hope this finds you well. I wanted to check-in and drop a few lines of encouragement in the midst of it all that’s going on in/around us. Let’s get right to it, shall we? It’s so easy to get wrapped in a negative mindset and disposition, have a warped thought process, complain, become stuck in the past, or even worry about our future. Being open to or exploring a different perspective from godly or secular counsel is always great and even necessary at times to help pull us out of a dark space. No matter what route we take, we are personally responsible and will be held accountable for everything we say and do in this life.

Personally, I have found a relationship with God through His Son Jesus is the only way of escape from darkness, and into freedom. A daily chat with Him and spending time in His Word serves as a healing balm, loving correction, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for our mind, body, and soul. In His presence is where I prefer to be now, and for Eternity. Make no mistake He’s a gentleman and won’t force Himself into our lives. We have the gift of free will, and it’s up to us to choose life in Him, or death (separation from Him now and Eternally).

He loves us. We’re all “human”, but that’s not an excuse to allow our humanity to conquer us. We must be willing to put that pride/sinful nature under subjection, and allow Jesus to be Lord over our life. Trust me I’ve had my own share of things that I’ve done that I’m not proud of and even experienced.  But guess what? If I wouldn’t have encountered those pits, problems, or circumstances, I wouldn’t be the person I am today and becoming. A new day is a clear indication that God has given us an opportunity to draw nearer to Him, and to serve others in whatever capacity He sees fit.

Friends, I challenge us all to examine how we approach these last and final days. No man knows the day or hour when our Lord and Savior Jesus will return (Matthew 24 or Mark 13), so NOW is the time get ourselves in order.

Until we meet again, I love you to life!

xoxo,

#SundayService#KanyeWestandTheSundayServiceCollective#JesusisKing: MY Experience

Beloved,

Hope this finds you well.  I was blessed to attend the “mission” this past Sunday at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. It’s no secret that I absolutely love Jesus, and like Paul, I’m totally unashamed of the gospel.  He’s at the center of this platform, and I thank Him daily for my life, health, and strength.  Without Him, I’m nothing and can’t imagine what my life would be like if I didn’t accept Him as my own personal Lord and Savior. Pause…I had to give Him the glory first. Now, buckle up because I won’t be before you long.

First of all, it was definitely an experience. I loved everything about it. To be in God’s presence at anytime is a win-win, whether spending an evening with Kanye, and the Sunday Service Collective, at my weekly church service, in my car, my office, or at home. 🙂 I’m always down to be wherever He is.  In His presence, there’s love, joy, and peace.  Outside of His eternal presence, is the agony of eternal Fire. Whew chile, that’s not what I want do you? Ponder that, and make up your mind.  Time is truly of the essence!

Hopefully by now, I have your full attention and will close out here.  I’m excited for Kanye, his family, and all of the souls he’s won to or back to Jesus.  Heaven is rejoicing and so am I.  It saddens me to see, hear, or read all of the negativity behind it, but the record is blazing.  From my perspective, there’s only one righteous judge and we all shall give an account for everything we say and do (Romans 14:12, Matthew 12:36).  Man looks on the outside, but God knows the heart, (I Samuel 16:7).  So push through, Kanye and cheers to all of you who decide to follow Jesus! Oh and to witness my kids, and husband freely praising and worshiping God is always a blessing. With all this being said, Jesus truly is King!

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever, (Hebrews 13:8, KJV).

Until we meet again, I love you to life!

xoxo,

#WarriorMoment

Being vulnerable and transparent is never easy and may lead to an emotional explosion of negativity in our thoughts and heart. The greater good is being in complete service to our God by bringing glory to His name, and helping to pull others out of they’re pit, problem, or circumstance. From one warrior to the next, we’ve got this. Begin again.

Hello April!

Greetings Beloved,

I thought I would do us both a favor and check-in. :). Oh how I’ve missed thee! You must know that you’re always in my prayers.  How was the first quarter of 2019? Are you on track in reference to your relationship with God?  What about with yourself? With others? Life and all that it brings can be difficult to manage sometimes. How do you manage? Cope? When life is not going your way, what do you resort to?  Do you act on sinful impulses? Do you resist the devil? Or even yourself?  Come here self-control!  There’s more to that, but we’ll talk about that another day, shall we?

13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;14but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their OWN evil desire and enticed.15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death (James 1:13-15, NIV).

Now back to the matter at hand.  Friends, no matter what pit, problem, or circumstance we may face, we’re not alone.  God loves us and He’s always ready to help. Remember to focus on one day at a time and begin your day in His presence. It’s then and only then that you will have peace in accomplishing what you do.  Why?  Because it’s already in His will and plan for your life. Until we meet again, I love you to life!

Who Am I?

Beloved,

Who am I?  I am a daughter of the Most High God.  I have full assurance in knowing that I am reaping on Earth/and will reap the eternal benefits of being a believer in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  In Him, I know that I’m loved, valued, accepted, appreciated, validated, and most of all forgiven among many other things.  Friends, who exactly are you?

2018: Before I Let You Go…

Beloved,

I’ve been hitting you with a few #WarriorMoments here and there, but I wanted to drop a few lines of encouragement.  As we usher in a New Year, keep becoming the change that you wish to see in the world.  I know it’s a stretch and others may not understand it.  However, it’s not for anyone to understand but you and God.  Stay within the safety of humility, and elevation is bound to happen.

Don’t create another resolution.  Instead, focus on one day at a time and begin your day in His presence.  Try it, and watch what happens in your day.  It’s then and only then that you will have peace in accomplishing what you do.  Why?  Because it’s already in His will and plan for your life. 🙂 Until we meet again, I love you to life, and I’m looking forward to what 2019 has in store for us all!

Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish
for His mercies never end. They are new every morning;
great is Your faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22-23, HCSB).

Being honest with God, ourselves, and others about where we are in this thing called life is important.  It’s then and only then that we can face our own struggles, deal with them, and truly transform through the power of God.

#WarriorMoment

Praying for/with all of those that have lost loved ones during this holiday season. Release everything but the positive impact that your loved one had on your life, and the precious memories created.  There’s going to be a time where the phone will stop ringing, and the cards, and flowers will go away.

Don’t be discouraged, though.  You’re not alone and God will always be there to mend, fill, heal, and repair your broken heart. Keep and create a healthy space to be human.  Shed those tears.  Process every emotion that you feel.  Notice I said in a healthy way. Trust the process and in YOUR time you will have the strength to move forward.
