Hope all is well, and that you’re almost ready for the sweet season of spring! Let’s dive right in, shall we? The moment when we think we are not being watched, indeed we are. It’s called integrity. Let’s stop and think about this for a moment. Does our confession match how we express ourselves during the week? Sure, we are all guilty of being carnal,(a way of thinking that demonstrates a self-directed life vs. a Christ directed life, reject the Lordship of Christ, continue to sin, and walk according to the course of this world(Shelly, James P, 2001). A daily walk with the Lord, doesn’t require perfection, simply a willing, open, and obedient/repenting heart-confident as a believer in Jesus. He will lovingly deal with us in order to restore fellowship with Him.
It’s easy to fool our fellow-man, but we can’t fool nor hide from God. No matter what, we have to realize that we are loved unconditionally by Him. As a child of the Most High, my feet may slip, but at the end of it all I’m accepted, valued, capable, and most of all forgiven. How about you? Beloved, integrity is a big deal in the sight of God and is something that we should strive to uphold in our journey with the Lord. There’s so much more to say on this, but I’ll stop here for now. Until we meet again, I love you to life!
When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy (Psalm 94: 18-19, NIV)
People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will slip and fall (Proverbs 10:9)
