Dear Beloved,

I pray that your day is well, and that somehow, someway you can grab and retain that blessed peace that only God provides. Just decided to flow with the Spirit and bring a little content with substance. Let’s jump right in, shall we?

Do you find that sometimes our relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ comes from our head and not our heart? Let me explain. We loosely use the expression about us or another “being all in their feelings”, or being emotionally unstable.  If we’re not careful we can fall into the trap with being in the love with the concept of God, but our hearts are far away from Him. The Bible speaks to this: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength (Deuteronomy 6:5, NIV).

As we settle into this month, let’s not flirt with the idea of God, but really connect from our heart and love the Lord our God with every fabric of our being.  Until we meet again, I love you to life!  Welcome to all of my new fellow warriors.
